The 2012 Omaha Quilters’ Guild Show - Vendor Information
Omaha Quilts 2012: A Piece Rally will be on Thursday, June 21, 2012 through Saturday, June 23, 2012. The show will be at the LaVista Conference Center. This has been a very successful venue for the show and we plan to build on the success.
The show will be “set up” on Thursday morning and afternoon. The show will be open on Thursday from 5 PM to 8 PM. Friday hours will be 9 AM until 8 PM and Saturday hours will be 9 AM until 4 PM. Last year was our first year without Sunday hours and we had no decrease in total attendance. Without the flooding to hold us back, we are expecting a greater attendance this year.
We continue to have a limitation on the space available. This means that the total number of vendor spaces will remain the same as last year. Vendors will be accepted with consideration being given to the goods and services being offered. Our guild strives to provide a good quality and variety of merchandise for our show attendees to purchase. We also want the participating vendors to have a profitable show experience. We are happy to announce that there will be no increase in booth fees charged by the Omaha Quilters’ Guild.
We are encouraging guild members and vendors to keep the “Piece Rally” theme in mind when preparing for this year's show. When filling out the vendor application, please include information regarding any of your plans that would support our show's theme. We are hoping to see a lot of tie dye, hippie beads and flower power at the show.
We want to remind all vendors that the vendor assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages and claims arising out of injury or damage to displays, equipment and other property brought upon the premises of the LaVista Conference Center and indemnifies and holds harmless the Omaha Quilter's Guild and its members and the LaVista Conference center and its employees from any and all such losses, damages, and claims.
We encourage you to complete and submit your vendor application without delay if you are interested in participating as a vendor. It will be to your advantage to fill out the application as thoroughly as possible so that we are aware of what you have to offer when we are making out contract offering decisions. You will be notified via email (or mail if no email available) once we are able to confirm your participation. We will make an attempt to offer vendors the size of booth that is desired, but we cannot guarantee that all vendors will receive their requested booth size. In the event we are unable to confirm you as a vendor, you will be notified via email. If your application is accepted, you will receive a contract that will need to be signed and returned along with the appropriate fee.
